I’ve purchased the course, how do I log in?

Once upon successfully purchasing a course or product you will be automaitcally logged into the gamergudebook.com website.

If this didn’t happen an email with a tempory password will be sent to the email you listed checkout. To login simply click on the login link at the top right hand corner of the website, or visit this link https://gamerguidebook.com/login/

I forgot my password, what do I do now?

To resent your password simply click on the forgotten password link on the login page. Add your email address and a new tempory password will be emailed to you. If you do not see the email in your inbox within 10 minutes of filling out the forgotten password form check your spam folder.

I’ve subscribed to the industry database. Where do I access it?

Once you have successfully subscribed to the industry database a new link will appear in the top navigation of the website titled Search Video Game Industry Database.

To start searching for contacts click on this link. Note that if your subscription ends because of a failed payment this link will no longer work and you will need to reactive your subscribe via the account page.

I’ve lost access to industry database. What happened?

There are a few reasons why you may have lost access to the indursty database.

  • Your reoccuriung payment for the indursty database subscription failed. This could be do to your credit card expiring, or a credit overdraw. If you would like to gain access to the indursty database again simply renew your subscription by subscribing again. You don’t need to create another account, simple login and subscribe using your existing account.
  • We have been recorded as misusing the indursty database data as per our product useage terms and your subscribption was revoked.
  • Our sustem has recorded suspecious acitivy from your user account, or IP address accessing large amounts of data within short periods (data scaping, data mining) and your subscribption was revoked.

I’ve finished a course. How do I get access to my certificate.

Upson fisnishing a course your certificate becomes avaialable for download at the course overview page and user dashboard page. At the course overview page click the ‘download certificate’ button to download a pdf of your certifcate. Upson completion of a course your certifcate will also be emailed to you. If you can’t see the email in your inbox after 10 minutes check your spam folder.

If you think you have finished your course but cannot see the certifacte on either your course overview page and user dashboard be sure to check that you have marked each of your lessons and modules as ‘completed’. Your certificate will only become available once all modules and lessons within that course have been marked as complete.

I’ve found some incorrect contact information in the industry database. Can you amend it?

If you have found incorrect contact information within our indursty database please email support@gamerguidebook.com with a link to the contact page, and a description of what’s wrong. Our team will review your information and amend the data.

Can I purchase a bundle with both the essentials course and all of the master classes?

Yes you can, it’s called our Ultimate Bundle, which you can purchase by clicking here. The Ultimate Bundle represents great value for money and have over 50 vidoe lessons with practical demonstrations!

Help, I need to change my email address!

Have no fear! It’s easy to change both your email address, and any other contact information. Just click on the My Account link at profile (the icon of the little person) in the top navigation of the website, or click here.

How do I cancel my subscription to the industry database?

To view or cancel your subscription to the indursty database simply click on the account settings link at profile (the icon of the little person) in the top navigation of the website, or click here. Then click on the My Membership tab, then click the ‘cancel’ button for the ‘Video Game Industry Database Subscription’ plan.

Do you have affiliate program?

Yes we do and you are welcome to join it.

Are payments through the website sercure?

Yes, payments on our website are sercured by both an SSL certifcate and Stripe’s encrypted payment gateway.

All card numbers are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of Stripe’s internal servers and daemons are able to obtain plaintext card numbers; instead, they can just request that cards be sent to a service provider on a static whitelist. Stripe’s infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in separate hosting infrastructure, and doesn’t share any credentials with Stripe’s primary services (API, website, etc.).

I‘ve lost access the industry contact database, what’s happened?

You may have lost accesss to the database because of a failed credit card debit.

Don’t worry, we will try and recharge your account over the next 7 days, so make sure your credit card information is up to date in your My Account page.

In the meantime, your subscription will be on-hold and will be reinstated once payment is successful.

If we get to the end of the 7 days and we still can’t recharge you account your subscription will be deactivated. Even if this happens it’s ok, you can still reactive your account. Just log into the website, find the Subscriptions tab on the My Account page and click on the resubscribe button on your deactivated Video Game Industry Database subscription.
